Job Description: 
 
The Commercial support person will work in conjunction with the Specialty Channel Sales Manager and the entire commercial development team to establish and grow these segments of business. This position has the primary responsibility for assisting in identifying, analyzing, & promoting, commercial systems solutions to engineers, builders and large national accounts. This position is responsible for the day to day support of commercial sales, as well as assisting in implementing the sales strategies as per Navien policies and procedures as set forth by the Specialty Channel Sales Manager, Senior Commercial Coordinator and Navien Management. This position will be based in our Irvine, CA office.

Primary responsibilities:
1.       Provide sales and administrative support to the Specialty Channel Sales Manager & team.
2.       Use market related tools and online subscriptions to mine information identifying tankless users, specifiers, & designers.
a.        Ensure proper model and count of tankless units in design/specifications for Engineers, Contractors, etc., and Field                                        Representatives.
b.       Verify proper installation techniques are being applied.
c.        Provide proper information to design groups using correct tankless designs, drawings, and specification information.
d.       Disseminate tank/tankless job bid information to appropriate persons and sales channels.
e.       Track and report on projects by category, territory, model, etc.
3.       Maintain a database of tankless designers and users within the multiple tankless application and commercial market.
a.        Communicate with Sales force, trainers & tech department when field assistance and sales opportunities arise and need attention.
b.       Communicate with Marketing and Shipping departments, materials needed for engineers, designers and specifiers (catalogs,                      drawings, etc.)
 4.       Receive and respond to Commercial application inquiries from clients or other departments. Assess nature, size & scope of the                   potential business, determine next steps and action
5.        Source leads for potential new clients, sharing information with Navien Sales and Manufacturer Representative channels.
  1. 6.        Undertake tele-sales calls to potential new clients to qualify lead assess, business fit and determine next steps within Commercial             Team.
  2. 7.       Monitor progress, follow up of leads and follow up quotations & jobs issued to clients to understand success/failure rate if quoted              Navien products are used or other brand(s).
  3. 8.       Collate and distribute regular news and sales information to Commercial Division, Manufacturer Reps and Navien Management.
  4. 9.       Actively participate in weekly sales meetings as required and established.
  5. 10.     Support the Sales Managers, when directed, in providing service and pricing solutions.
  6. 11      Any other duties reasonably requested by the Commercial Manager, department or Navien management.
To be a successful Navien Commercial Support team member, you should have following attributes:
 
1.      You should have excellent communication skills.
2.     Organized, computer literate including an exceptional understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Suite products
3.     Willingness to learn new things accept additional tasks as needed and take on fresh responsibilities to promote the department’s             success.
4.     Be dependable for Managers that are not stationed at the Irvine CA office or are traveling most of the time. Making sure that tasks            are completed timely, in order of priority and accurately.
